Why this journal
Writing ordinary life with care
Life in Prose began as a habit of writing down the small things that stayed with me: a line from a book, a quiet evening at home, a recipe handed down without measurements. I wanted a place to keep those notes in one journal rather than scattered across margins.
Faith and marriage sit beside children's books, poetry, and the kitchen table, because that is how my days actually run. I hope each essay leaves room for both a considered thought and an ordinary detail.

Notes on an essay, a book you think I should read, or a question about the blog are all welcome. I read every message and reply when I can.
